All Cape Special Olympics
Over 300 athletes arrived to the MRHS turf on Thursday morning to kickoff the All Cape Special Olympics.
Shoutout from Ms. Grogan: "I would like to send out a huge, heartfelt, sincere thank you to all the teachers and staff that donated, wished us luck, or had the opportunity to join us at the event yesterday. It was a beautiful day for these very deserving individuals. Millions of smiles and laughter that could make your heart burst."
REMINDER: Photo Retake Day is Tuesday, November 8th
Who should go to the camera?
- NEW STUDENTS or ABSENTEES: New students or students who were absent during the original picture day should come to the camera on Retake Day.
- RETAKES: Students who would like a retake should bring their original portrait packet to the camera and return it to the photographer.

Harwich Children’s Fund Outerwear and Holiday Gift Card Program
Children’s Cove Teen Task Force
On 10/24/22 during the lunch block, Children’s Cove will be set up outside the cafeteria to provide information to student’s about their services as well as to promote student participation for their Teen Task Force. This opportunity is available for grade 10 male students.

Homecoming Football Game TONIGHT!
WEEKLY ATHLETICS ROUNDUP
Cross Country- Courteney Dery
Saturday the 15th, qualifying members of both the girls and boys teams attended the 2022 Twilight Invitational in Falmouth. Megan Gogol and Chatham Gillis participated in the boys and girls freshman races. Gogol finished her 2.1 miles in 16:59, taking 90th place out of 122 ladies. Gillis completed his race in 13:57, finishing 88th out of 156. Courteney Dery, Ryan Borthwick, and Jack Yuskaitis participated in the JV small school races. Dery completed her 3.1 miles in 21:27, a new PR, and took 11th place out of 196. Borthwick completed his 5k in 20:06, 78th out of 274 and Yuskaitis finished in 20:36, 115th out of 274. To wrap up the night, Gareth Vos participated in the Varsity small school race. Gareth finished 17th out of 177 with a time of 16:29. Tuesday was the last home meet for the sharks and both teams walked away victorious and with multiple members hitting personal records. Awesome job!
Unified Basketball- Jennie Grogan
The Unified Basketball team beat Barnstable at home 60-46 on Monday. Then went on the road and won again at Barnstable 62-48. The entire team is playing great basketball. Claire Cooney is leading the team in scoring and rebounding. Rory Farris is leading the team in 3 pointers and assists. Stella Linnell is leading the team in steals.
Field Hockey- Carly Dimock
Monomoy field hockey had a great week. 5-1 win vs our Nauset rivals and a great 1-0 win vs #7 D2 seed, Falmouth. As of Tuesday, we are ranked #7 but we expect to move up after our past 2 wins. Good work sharks!
Girls Soccer- Karah Deveau
Girls soccer had a great week with an amazing win on senior night against Falmouth Academy 8-0. Thursday was another great win against Sturgis west who were tough to beat but they battled the whole game and ended up winning 4-3.
Boys Soccer- Colin Moore
The boys played two games this weekend. A 4-1 win against Falmouth Academy, and a 4-2 loss to Sturgis West. Goals throughout both games were scored by Ryan Laramee, Seamus St. Pierre, Nico Vujusovic, and Rahvarion Smith. Bringing their record to 6-4-3 the boys look to win out their next five games against tough opponents in order to secure a playoff spot.
