Giving Thanks

You know, we have so much to be thankful for at East Side. The wonderful staff, our teachers, our community, our parents and families, but especially, our kids. They are the best! Our kids want to help, help each other and help our community. We build this into our curriculum and model respect and kindness to each other We also need to model this and step in as adults and take the initiative of giving thanks to each other, kids and adults. In a world full of strife, we need love and kindness and we need to be the model for our kids.

During this holiday season, let's reflect on everything we have going for us and let's focus more on giving thanks for what we have. We are truly lucky and, you know, our kids deserve it and we deserve them!

On behalf of the East Side staff, we wish you a wonderful and safe holiday season and a prosperous New Year! See you in 2016!
