Lord Jesus, by you, all things were created in heaven and on earth. You said not to store up treasures on earth, but to store up treasures in heaven. You said that whatever we give is acceptable if we give it eagerly and to give according to what we have. Help us to give with eager hearts, not in comparison with others, but as an act of worship to you. May we, in bringing our offerings to you, store up treasure in your kingdom. Amen

Thanks to all of you! We have made significant progress toward meeting our budget goal of $430,000 in pledges for 2021 (we have received $383,279 in pledges thus far). While we are making progress, there is still more work to do. Please prayerfully return your pledge cards at your earliest convenience.

Worship is one part of Church. Volunteering and sharing your talents with others is also an important part of Church. As we usher in 2021 we will be highlighting and offering more ways to safely get involved and service our church and community! Share your Time and Talents! More to come in '21!

LIFE GROUPS

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20

Looking for a way to connect more deeply with others at CLP? It's easy to get lost in a crowd—to feel lonely during this pandemic or even when attending services. That's why CLP has a small-groups ministry. We want everyone to have the opportunity to be recognized, cared for and to find their niche here at CLP. People grow deeper spiritually in a loving, caring, interactive group where they can feel free to ask their real questions and sense the support of the group. Plus carry this support out to the community in an act of service.

Some questions that you might be asking yourself about Life Groups:

What: Groups of 6-12 people lead by a member of the group reflecting on God’s word, spiritual book, or a bible study. Life Groups support all stages of faith as participants experience spiritual growth within themselves and their group.

Who: Married couples, singles, men, women, young adults, and the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Why: They not only foster faith, they also build up the body of Christ by praying, reading, sharing life experiences and putting these reflections into acts of service within the community. Each Life Group will determine how they serve.

In the coming weeks you will be asked to sign up for a Life Group. In the meantime we would like you to pray and to think of a group you would like to facilitate or join. Please email me at mkinney@clp.church to register so we can start forming groups. Looking forward to hearing from you. God Bless.
