Weekly Update

9 1/2 days---- doesn't seem possible... It has truly been a great year! We have seen so much growth with your kiddos this year it's been amazing. The Data "progress report" will come home Monday as well as our last YELLOW FOLDER work. You can keep the yellow folder at home... all graded work going forward will come home in red folders.
Please sign the "progress report folder and send back so I can get your report cards sent home to you on that half day. THE last day. :(
DOJO- please make sure to have DOJO notifications on... this time of the year there are a lot of changes and updates.

Upcoming dates
5/19- Sharks Vocab and Comp test
5/26- K-2 Water Day- Students MUST WEAR athletic wear (NO ZIPPERS OR BUCKLES) for water day. We will have a slide time in the afternoon.
5/29- NO SCHOOL- Memorial Day
5/30- K-2 Field Day / K-2 Awards 7-8pm (this is for those who will be contacted and extended a personal invite)
5/31- Class Awards / Candy Bar sign up genius for Candy Bar
6/1 End of Year Class Party Thank you Mrs. Marshall for organizing all of this.
6/2- HALF DAY Last day of school - Reading Day- Bring your favorite books, beach towel, and flashlight

NO MORE Creative Core this year.
Lunch
- Lunch will be in the classroom this week.
This week in the class
Reading- This week we will be starting a fiction unit on Fireflies. There will be a comprehension test Friday, as well as vocabulary.
Math- We are beginning our unit on "pre-multiplication" We have been looking at odd and even numbers and will be looking at arrays
Science- We will continue our science unit on Animal Life Cycles.
Writing- We will start writing our end of year writing piece.
