Look what's happening in the Library
If your student is interested in OBOB, there's still time to sign up until November 30th! Ms. Street can help set up a team for interested students. Turn in the permission slip to Ms. Street in the Library or in her box in the main office: OBOB Permission Slip
"Save-the-Date” flyers for the fall book fair are going home this week. The fair will be December 3rd-8th in the Arleta Library, and will be open during the Holiday Festival. Parent volunteers interested in decorating after school on November 30th should contact Ms. Street at tstreet@pps.net. Creative minds are sought after to turn the library into an Enchanted Forest!

Need to weatherproof your home? Sign up for a free DIY Weatherization Workshop from the Community Energy Project. The workshop will help teach you

We're in the middle of our big fundraising drive. These funds help the PTA give classroom grants to teachers, buy clothing for the Arleta clothes closet, host fun events like the Halloween Dance and Family Picnic in addition to many other things. You can drop off donations at the office or online at: squareup.com/store/arleta-pta. And please share the link with friend and family!
Holiday Festival
The PTA is the planning the Holiday Festival set for Saturday, December 8. This year’s bazaar will again feature student-made crafts and gifts. Flyers with more information on how to sign your student up for the bazaar will go home soon.
Tamales
Order forms will be sent out by Monday, December 3 and are due back by Monday, December 10. Tamales will be available to pick up after school on Friday, December 14, the last day of school before winter break.
