Principal's Message
I hope that you and your family have enjoyed the long weekend and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday and legacy!
Coming home this week, each student will receive a Noble Family Handbook. This Handbook will go up on our district website, but we wanted to deliver a copy of the handbook home with each child as well. Please review this handbook with your child and then complete the final page and return the tear-off slip. Each child who returns the tear-off slip will receive 5 ClassDojo points for Family Engagement. If you have any questions regarding the Noble Family Handbook, please feel free to reach out to me at p_carpenter@chuh.org.

Community Conversation on Noble School Traffic Patterns
At this time, we will be hosting a Community Conversation event at Noble School and we are inviting families and neighbors in order to hear some community planning and converse about potential next steps. All Noble families are invited to participate in the conversation. We are currently working with the Mayor's Office in order to provide childcare and food at the event.
Our Community Conversation on Noble School Traffic Patterns has been scheduled for Thursday, January 26th from 6:30-7:30p. I certainly hope to see our Noble families there!!
African American Read-In @ Noble Neighborhood Library
The program will run from 4:00-5:00pm on Tuesday, January 31st and will be a great family fun event :) CLICK HERE for access to the Noble Library event website.
Noble PRIDE Roll-Out - January Focus: Reflective
In December and continuing in January, we are practicing the behavior of being REFLECTIVE. Students are learning different ways that they can be reflective at school, set goals, and learn from mistakes. When students are seen practicing being reflective, they can earn a special Noble PRIDE - Reflective bracelet! Be sure to ask your child about it if they are wearing one home.
Here are some resources you can use to learn more about being reflective:

School Store Fundraiser
One exciting element of the fundraiser is that students can receive a special prize - a Hugger stuffed animal! If you choose to participate and follow the directions on the envelope, your child will receive a special prize code. When they bring the envelope back to school with that prize code, Ms. Copez-Minor will deliver their Hugger stuffed animal to them. The best part is that no one needs to spend any money in order to get a Hugger stuffed animal - you just need to complete the directions on the envelope and get the prize code.
If you have any questions about the fundraiser, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Copez-Minor at k_copez@chuh.org.
Safety Reminders for the New Year
- Early Dismissal - If you are picking your child up early from school, we ask that you please send a note in with your child that day. Notes from home are turned in to the office each morning, so we will have your child's note on file. When you arrive to pick up your child, we will call them down to the office. We don't call them down in advance in order to preserve as much instructional time as possible.
- Arrival - At Arrival each morning, parents are not permitted to come into the building at any entrance other than Door 1. Parents and guardians are not permitted to come into breakfast unless they are with a Preschooler.
- Entering Noble - All visitors, including all parents, MUST use Door 1 on Parkdale Rd. Parents and visitors are not permitted to enter through any other door and will always be asked to report to the Main Office when arriving at Noble.
- Escorting around Noble - Parents and visitors are not permitted to travel throughout Noble without a staff member escort.
All of these practices are in place to ensure the safety of all students at Noble. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Main Office at 216.371.6535.
