Tiger Express
September 7, 2021
Hello Team,
This week was an amazing week of learning. I noticed more teachers were allowing students to facilitate the learning. Our visit went really well this week.
Some of the strengths were:
- students were actively engaged in the lesson
- teachers were using district’s powerpoints
- systems were evident
- anchor charts were available for students to use.
- word walls were evident
- classrooms were print rich and conducive to learning
Some of the areas of opportunities were:
- some rooms need to be clutter-free (especially the small group table)
- some loss of instructional time due to teacher talk or lack of preparation
- interactive journals need to be evident
- TEKS should be on the bulletin boards
- limited student voice
