Lower Mills #PeacePath Project
At SJP2CA, we are intentionally embedding the messages of peace, faith, love, hope, and joy into all that we do. They are such powerful messages! We know that we cannot control what happens outside of our school community, but do know that by being Peacemakers and living our life through the eyes of Christ, we can Change the World! Every student at Lower Mills created their own, personalized rock which is their promise to continue to spread peace and kindness into the world. We will place these rocks into a #PeacePath that will remind us of our promise to each other and our community.

She is a proud graduate of the Boston College Urban Catholic Teacher Corps Program, where she earned her Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Millar taught for the past two years at Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton. She holds an Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education and Minor in Social Work from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Ms. Millar was a teacher leader at Boston College this summer as part of the new teacher institute with the Archdiocese of Boston, where she focused on social-emotional supports in the classroom grounded in growth mindset and positive affirmations. Ms. Millar studied abroad in Ireland and was a Cantor for a Parish while she was there. Ms. Millar's favorite color is blue. When she is not teaching, she enjoys running, reading and traveling. Ms. Millar ran her first Marathon this school year as part of the Cape Cod Marathon! She ran 26.2 miles in just over 4 hours...we are so proud of her commitment! Her favorite food is peanut butter. Ms. Millar's favorite Saint is Saint Mother Teresa, because she always puts others first. We are blessed to have Ms. Millar as a part of our teaching and learning community.
