Kumba Mela Festival
Kumba Mela Festival
During the month of February, we will be traveling to India on an incredible Gospel Expedition. Our first stop will be to attend the Kumba Mela festival in Allahabad, India. The Kumba Mela festival, or "water-pitcher festival," is the world’s largest religious gathering, with over 80 million people expected to attend over the course of a one-month’s time. This Kumba Mela, in Allahabad, happens only once every 12-years and is considered the most holy event in Hinduism. In the Hindu belief, the Kumba Mela is believed to offer a chance, but no assurance, to wash away sins under ideal astrological conditions. If done properly, the Hindu believes this can then break the endless cycle of reincarnation. Our mission, at this event, is to share about the new life found in Christ. What better place to speak of Christ’s payment for sin then in a place where pilgrims are searching for redemption. We will need your prayers, support and intercessions as we set out on this journey in India. Please help this gospel expedition, by donating and praying! Together we can reach many with the Gospel and bring the light a Christ to all mankind!

Travel the Road
Travel the Road is a two-fold ministry. First, we actively preach the message of Christ Jesus to remote people groups who have never heard the gospel, or are currently cutoff from active mission work. Second, we document our expeditions and present them in a weekly television series to motivate the church to be active in missions.
