History
In 1988, Yellowstone Park caught a fire that burned down 36 percent of the park. Yellowstone was the first national park in the United States. It was established as a national park by congress on March 1st.
Climate
For summer temperatures are often in the 70s and sometimes in the 80s in lower elevations. For the Winter temperatures often range from zero to 20F throughout the day. Lastly for fall and Spring temperatures range from the 30s to the 60s.

There are many activities and events to do at yellowstone, such as boating, bicycling, hiking, camping, fishing ect.

There are 40 major waterfalls in Yellowstone.
A grizzly bear eats about 35 pounds of food at Yellowstone national park.
Yellowstone park got over 3 million visitors a year.
Association with Native Americans
Until the early 1800s Native Americans lived throughout the Yellowstone Plateau. They lived a peaceful life near the rivers and mountains throughout Yellowstone. The Native Americans lived by fishing and hunting. They also used the warm water to bathe, wash their clothes and cook.
