Better Together-Monday Mail
A Message from Principal Hernandez
Greetings Evers Families,
It's hard to believe, but we are about to go on a much needed Thanksgiving break! We hope the time with family is just what you need to continue through this year.
A few things to remember:
- If your student is an in person learner, it is important that they attend school daily to maintain routine and academic success. In the event your child is ill, please communicate with his or her teacher. Also, please continue to provide doctor's notes for absences.
- It can be very challenging for teachers to monitor both in person students and students on zoom. There may be times the teacher needs to end a zoom session early due to a disruption in the classroom. Please continue to be flexible with your child's teacher and contact them with any questions.
- We are closely monitoring the academic success of all students. Please assist us in supporting your student by regularly checking HAC and communicating with your child's teacher with any concerns.
Please take time to review school news below.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call the office at 210-397-2550.
Let's have a great week Unicorns!

November 16 Announcements
Third grading period selection survey opens soon
Northside families will be asked to complete a survey beginning Nov. 16 to indicate which learning model they choose for the third grading period or third quarter (Jan. 4-March 19). As with both previous surveys, the two options for students include in-person or virtual learning.
An email containing the link to the survey will be sent to parents the morning of Nov. 16 and families will have until Nov. 29 to make their selection. All families will need to make a selection using the survey including those who wish to remain in their current learning model.
For more information regarding the learning models, including a side-by-side comparison, visit our Back.Together.Better website.
The link to the survey can also be found there starting Nov. 16.
