Shakespeare was...

He was a well-known author that wrote at least 36 plays, 154 sonnets and other poems. He would often act in his own plays along with men and other boys; women never acted in his plays.


Shakespeare lived...

He lived from 1564-1616, died at the age of 52. He was alive during the English Renaissances and constructed most of his writing in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. He survived the plague outbreak in Europe between 1592 and 1594; he decided to write poetry during this time.


Shakespeare accomplished...

During his life Shakespeare came to own the Famous Globe Theater in 1599, which burned down on June 29th, 1613. He raised three kids, Susanna, Hamnet, and Judith. He wrote a great variety of plays such as Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, and The Comedy of Errors.


Shakespeare...

He would only perform his plays in the daylight, often in the summer afternoon. He married Anne Hathaway when she was 26, at 18. During his writing he invented the words "assassination", "puke", "bedroom", and "bump".
