Valhalla High School
2022-23 Back To School Information
Welcome Back!
A new year, a new beginning
We are so excited to have students back with us on August 15th. There have been lots of changes, but it is still the same great Valhalla HS. Below, you will find important information and dates. Please read and reach out to us if you have questions.
The 2022 - 2023 School Year
When the State Legislature changed the start times for all high schools to 8:30 am, we needed to adjust the hours our building is open for business. Starting August 1st, the school will be open for business from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Bell schedules have shifted to reflect the 8:30 am start time. Most of our 12th and 11th grade students will attend class period 1 through period 6 and most of the 10th and 9th grade students will attend class period 2 through 7.
First Day of School for Students
The new school year starts on Monday, August 15th. Mondays are traditionally Collaboration Days; days that end early so staff can attend meetings and collaborate.
The first day of school, however, is a Minimum Day - a shorter day for acquaint students with their schedules and the campus. Click HERE to see all of Valhalla's Bell Schedules as well as important dates for the 2022 - 2023 academic year.
