Late Start Day

The "late start" for students is new to USD 232 this year, and it is already showing some benefits. While it can be tough on students (and parents) to have a change in the schedule, not only will this allow for late starts during inclement weather, it also builds in professional development time for teachers (instead of taking a whole day off). This past week, teachers examined our FastBridge data and developed plans to support and challenge students based on the results.

P.A.W.S. Thank You

Thank you for your support of the LTMS Scholastic Book Fair! Sales are over $1,000 so far, so we are well on our way to our goal of $4,300. Our copies of the new graphic novel, Guts, have arrived. This book just released on 9-17-19.

Our ice bucket challenge contest is really heating up in the library. Mrs. Slater, Miss Ogg, Mr. McCracken, and Mr. Crady are battling it out right now. Who will it be that gets "iced" at the end of the home football game on Tuesday, October 1st???

Don't forget you can shop our online book fair for even more choices or put money in e-Wallet for your student to use at the book fair. With e-Wallet, you don't have to send cash to school and you can set a spending limit. Here's the link to the online store and e-Wallet:
