January Learning Environment

Thank you to everyone for completing the form indicating your choice of learning environment for second semester. We are working on schedules and plan to have those posted when we return from winter break in early January.

We WON the BYOT Virtual Fitness Challenge!!

In total, our county raised over $40,000 and moved 21,816 hours - 57 minutes - 25 seconds through the month of October. Riverwatch panthers came in 1st place for Middle Schools and Gayla Dore, one of our very own teachers, was the 1st place individual winner for middle school. Congrats to Gayla.

Thanks to all those that participated and continue to stay healthy and fit for the holiday season.

Alliance Academy for Innovation

Representatives from Alliance Academy will be here to meet with interested 8th grade students on Monday, November 16. Students may sign up for one of two sessions through FlexTime Manager. Virtual Students will be provided a Teams link to dial in and listen to the presentation. See below for informational parent meetings as well.

Breakfast & Lunch Menu Changes

Due to supply issues, there are times when breakfast and lunch menus will have to be changed after their publication. Our amazing cafeteria staff updates these changes in our Riverwatch MealViewer App. We apologize for the changes but are thankful to our cafeteria staff for providing nutritious options every day.

8th Grade Ads

Eighth Grade Ads are a great way to celebrate your child's achievements. These ads will be featured in the RMS 2020-21 yearbook, and it serves as a tribute to your child before they go off to high school. There is limited space for these ads in the yearbook, so act fast to reserve a spot for your Eighth Grader. Orders due by December 1, 2020.

Panther Pit Stop (School Store) - Gone Virtual

Annual Holiday Shop

Our 8th grade Marketing and Business students have planned Weekly “Black Friday” Deals from now until the holidays. These products will be on display in the rotunda along with the order forms. Students pick up an order form, fill it out and return it to either Mrs. Ruckert or Mrs. Farley’s classroom with payment (cash or check payable to RMS). The products will be delivered to homeroom classrooms the following week.

This is a great opportunity for our students to get some holiday shopping done for family and friends!

Our teachers and staff have worked extremely long hours trying to keep up with students and procedures for both face-to-face and virtual over the past few weeks.
