energy for the future
Wind is one type of renewable energy, air in motion. It is caused by uneven heating in the earth. Because the earth is made of different types of land and water, it absorbs heat at different rates. It is renewable energy because once the energy in the wind stops, it turns into a different type of energy instead of not being able to be used again. Solar energy is another type of energy. It comes straight from the sun and creates electricity. It is renewable energy because from solar energy, it can turn into electrical energy, mechanical energy, and so on. Another type of renewable energy is biomass energy. Biomass contains stored energy from the sun. Plants absorb the sun's energy in a process called photosynthesis. The chemical energy in plants gets passed on to people and animals who eat them. Biomass is renewable energy because we can always grow more trees and crops, and waste will always exist. These are renewable energies because they can be used over and over again. The energies that we should be using in the future are solar energy, wind energy, geothermal, and biomass energy because they are good for the earth and does not pollute it as much.
BIOMASS ENERGY IN THE FUTURE
Biomass energy comes from plants and crops. When you burn the chemicals in biomass energy, it's released as heat energy. Garbage or waste can be burned to create electricity, and heat for homes. Biomass should be the energy of the future because when you use it, you are reusing garbage and plants and making them into electricity. So instead of putting all of your waste in the dump and letting it just sit there, it can be used for electricity. We aren't using biomass energy more because you need a lot of crops which requires a lot of land and money. Reasons I can think of now to use more renewables rather than wait til oils run out is because it will do less damage to the earth and that will help with global warming.
