Connection Cards are back!
We're looking for some helpers to host Connection Cards at upcoming concerts. These cards allow families and loved ones to send a note of encouragement, support, or congratulations to Thomas students (cards are delivered during school in the following days). PTSA is sponsoring this quick and easy opportunity to say those words we sometimes forget in the rush of busy days. See the sign up page here:

SPARX FUNdrive!!
I am working with the donorship and marketing sub-team for SparX robotics and I was able to schedule a FUNdrive with Saver's and was wondering if you would be able to put it into the weekly newsletter this week?
This is also an environmentally friendly project as we send on average 10.5 million tons of clothing to landfills a year, while taking over 700 gallons of water to make one new cotton shirt, as well as the average person throwing away 81 lbs of clothing a year when 95% could be recycled (Saver's Powerpoint).
In case the links do not work, the donation drive is on December 15th from 12-2pm at Saver's 980 Ridge Rd in Webster. SparX students will be in red if the weather promotes it, and all donations are tax write offs in which we will be providing receipts to do so.
This is the link for the poster/flyer showing what items they will take (soft goods are the main target, with a $0.20/lb profit):

Titan Hockey This Weekend
It will be Webster V Webster this Saturday at 5pm at the Webster Ice Rink. The game is a fundraiser in support of NAMI – the National Alliance for Mental Illness. We will be selling raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets and having some break entertainment, all in the spirit of raising awareness and funds to support this organization. And, of course, there will be some great hockey!
I hope to see you there in support of our One Webster teams while we work to give a little back to the community!!
