Special Dress Down Day: Wednesday, April 20th!
Great strides have been made in CF research over the past 25 years, greatly increasing the quality of life and life expectancy for those with CF. Which means that it is very important to continue to raise money, as the money raised truly has a great impact!! That is why the annual walk that Danny has participated in with Antonio since the first grade is called GREAT STRIDES.
Antonio and Danny are walking again this year on Saturday April 23 at the walk held at Citizens Bank Park. The walk starts at 10 AM and is great fun every year!
Danny would like to invite any of his classmates that would like to walk to join them this Saturday if you are able. Thank you very much! Please support Danny, and support your classmate Antonio as he fights to make Great Strides every day!
Reading Olympics
The final meeting of the Reading Olympics team will take place this Friday, 4/22, at 12:35 in Mrs. Marano's classroom. The meeting will take place in the library if there is indoor recess on Friday. At this meeting the students will have one more opportunity to work with their group in preparation for the upcoming competition. The students will be receiving their team t-shirts this week probably on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
The competition will take place on Wednesday, April 27 at North Penn High School. For more details about the competition please consult the letter sent home earlier in the year. Remember that it is your responsibility to transport your child to and from the competition. We are looking forward to the competition. We have been very impressed with how well the students have worked together during the Reading Olympics practices and with how much enthusiasm that they have shown for reading. This is always so refreshing. If you have any questions about the competition, please contact one of the moderators.

Two parent volunteers must be on-duty in the school yard - before the playground is open. This ensures the safety of ALL. Our active volunteer program not only provides valuable hands-on assistance through the school, but also benefits the children by reinforcing ties between the children’s individual homes as well as the community at large, and the school. The Lunch/Recess Duty Volunteer program is a great way to volunteer and become involved at the school.
