From the Director
Dear CDS MS Community,
The middle school continues to focus it's efforts on providing the very best learning possible for our students as we move into the second week of Term 5.
We realize all members of our community—parents, students, teachers—are eager to know when and how our students will return to learning on campus. Our community can expect to receive further updates regarding this, early this week, after the most recent information available has been considered. Thank you for your patience and support.
Have a great week!
Mr. Scoville
Director of Middle School

7th graders E-learning in Music Class
As we come to a close for Term 4, for Music, we are able to see the final products that were created during our E-Learning schooling.
The 7th graders completed a Song Composition project where they wrote lyrics, combined it with a copyright-free backtrack, and produced a Youtube video. You can see all the 7th grade songs on the following website:
https://sites.google.com/daltonschool.kr/cds7thgradesongs/home
Also, read about some of the student's reflections on the project, which they submitted on their digital portfolio.

Welcome to the SWIP
Recently, COVID-19 has required us to modify the way in which we support our students. At Dalton we want to focus on actively helping to maintain our students' well-being, both during times of crisis and normal daily life. This is where the SWIP page comes in! So, take a look around and you will see some information from the student council, SHINE, and various teachers. If you have resources that should be added to this page, or any questions please feel free to contact us!

Library Book Pick-Up
Students,
I am thrilled that you all will be checking out books...they have been lonely at school without you! To check out books, please fill out this form. Make sure to read all the instructions, like which day you are allowed to come and pick up your books. Also, when you do come, return the books that you currently have. Many students want to read the same books so once you have finished one, return it so someone else can read it!
The picture below shows how you will pick up your books. Come in through the main doors and you will immediately see a table with the books. The big blue box is where you should drop off your return books. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me an email (ecarley@daltonschool.kr).
Happy reading!
- Ms. Carley
