A Message from the Principal

Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,

It was a treat to accompany Miss Evelyn Skelly last Friday as she experienced her role of HFCS Principal of the Day! She helped lead morning and afternoon prayer over the PA system, announced and managed a fire drill, visited first and second grade and gave each class an extra recess, did a special Mother’s Day art project with her class, followed by a pizza party and an extra fun recess with the 8th grade buddies. Whew, it was quite a fun day and Miss Skelly was an excellent principal!

This is a busy week for the 8th graders. On Tuesday they will go to Nolan with Mrs. Price and Sr. Immaculata for a retreat lead by the Nolan campus ministry team, Wednesday they will be taking the PSAT test, and Thursday they will be at St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Vocations Day. Please keep our 8th graders in your prayers as they prepare for graduation and their journey towards high school.

Thank you to all our parents who have volunteered to be drivers and chaperones for our many end-of- year field trips. The students love to go off campus to learn new things and we couldn’t provide these experiences without your help.

Have a wonderful week as we continue to enjoy the Easter season,

Ann Walters
