EAGLE SOAR

VANWAGNEN NEWS
Our First Annual Turkey Trot was absolutely awesome! We are so proud of all those who participated. For this community event, students had the opportunity to race approximately a half mile around an obstacle course behind the school. The top boy and girl in each grade won a turkey to take home, second and third place finishers earned pumpkin pies and the top five were all awarded medals. Each participated student earned a certificate for their efforts in completing the race.
Thanks to 5th grade teacher, Amy Teller, for spearheading this event and special thanks to Brooklyn Country Market and the Columbia Elementary PTO for sponsoring this event! #cuesproud
