Inauguration and Valentine's Sale
Founded in 2014 by Natalie Thayer
Establishing a modern jewelry company that appealed to a new generation was a dream that Natalie wanted to realize. Now with a mission to create and procure cool and interesting pieces from around the globe, Diamond Collective aims to do something different in the world of jewelry. Natalie's father, Jeremy Thayer, founded J. Thayer Company in 1981 as a direct importer of important gems from Sri Lanka, Burma, and Thailand. In 1985, he and Natalie's uncle Bruce Davidson developed Dianus Lanka LTD in Kalutara Sri Lanka, at the time, considered the largest semi-automatic cutting factory in Asia. Some of Natalie's earliest memories are of precious stones. In 2012 Natalie moved to New York City to work for and learn the diamond dealing business from one of the most respectable names in the industry, Issac Nussbaum. Today she operates out of the World Diamond Tower in the New York Diamond District.
