Oct 25, State Police Drug Awareness Academy Begins
The Pennsylvania State Police in cooperation with Lehigh Carbon Community College, Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, Lehigh County Probation, Lehigh County Coroner and Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol are offering a Drug Awareness Academy focusing on the Heroin Epidemic that is currently impacting our communities. This Academy is intended to have presenters from multiple facets to discuss a variety of topics but to also give community members an opportunity to ask questions. For more information, click here. The discussion on October 25th will include individuals in recovery and their family members who will tell stories about how they were introduced to the drug and negotiated their way away from it.
Oct 25, Zumba Fundraiser, PHS Cafeteria, 3:10 PM. For $3, take a zumba class to benefit the Spanish Club!
Oct 25, National Honor Society Unhaunted House for Elementary Students, 6 - 7:30 PM, PHS Library. There will be games, stories, crafts and pumpkin decorating for our littlest goblins. Costumes recommended!
Nov 4, Mock Election at PHS, organized by AP American Government Class and teacher Jodi Ferrio.

Nov 8, Election Day - NO SCHOOL.
Nov 8, Give Back with Outback. Plan to dine at Outback Steakhouse at 3100 W. Tilghman St. on this day and 10% of your bill will be donated to the Parkland School District Education Foundation, 4-9 PM.
