HPL Learning Link

Please continue to train your staff in how to utilize the HPL Learning Link resources with their students. There are several resources to help with this process in the HPL Learning Link folder in Schoology. As I find out more information from HPL about the resources or publicity, I will let everyone know.

We will delve into the HPL Learning Link resources more in our February meeting.

February 22nd Destiny Trainings

There are two different Destiny trainings on February 22. Since the trainings will be conducted by an Follett trainer, both sessions have strict seating limits set by Follett.

The morning session (Advanced Destiny Training) is a repeat of the major topics that were covered in the October 22, 2018, Advanced Destiny training. The participants for this session should only be librarians who were not at the October Destiny training.

The afternoon session (Advanced Destiny Training Part Two) builds on the information and training from October 22, 2018, Advanced Destiny Training. The participants for this session should only be librarians who were at the October Destiny training.

Monthly Reports

Please continue to work on your Monthly Reports each month. Remember the reports are online in Google Sheets this year. I checked all Monthly Reports the week before break and found that only half of the campuses had up-to-date reports. Also, there were a handful of campuses that had not even opened their Monthly Report this school year.

With increased district accountability oversight, these documents are frequently utilized to justify program funding and are looked at by others in campus to campus usage comparisons.
