What this does?
To do this lab, you'll need a laptop with logger pro intsalled, a colorimeter by Vernier, small square vials, green food coloring, water, and a teacher for help and to make sure things don't get out of hand.
What to do
Have the teacher fill up small glasses with water and add food coloring with each BUT add different amount of green drops for each and there should be 8 glasses with 0% food coloring to 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 100%, and a glass named Aunt Elda (I don't know why its named Aunt Elda).
Then have the students put a few drops in a vial the first image is what the liquids should look like
What They should look like (Plus the Vial Setup)
The Colorimeter
Sorry how these two are upside down
What the setup should look like
The Colorimeter will then test how much light will go through the water
Using Logger Pro
You make a graph and after you put in the information your in, the graph should make a straight line
