Instructional Reminders/Kudos!
2. Please remember to update your PLC agendas the day before your meeting. Also, each team should have a facilitator each week.
3. I have seen a lot of work with vocabulary throughout the building this week. Check out this resource - Textproject.org. It has some wonderful resources for vocabulary. Look under the CLASSROOM MATERIALS SECTION. Remember, you can play a large role in how our kids use academic vocabulary at school. Use strong synonyms for students' known vocabulary. For example, when you say "big" can you train yourself to say "mammoth" instead?
4. Mrs. D'Angelo and Mrs. Meyers - Please send students to help with announcements this week. Here is the schedule!
5. Students need visuals throughout their day. Please make sure your "I Can Statements" are updated and your chart work is tightly connected to what you're teaching in reading, math and science.
