Let's Talk Standards-Based Grading

All are Welcome

We will be meeting to discuss SBG topics to address questions, provide leadership, resources, and guidance throughout our building as we continue to grow our SBG systems and processes.


On Tuesday there will be two opportunities for staff to discuss the Formative & Summative Process in SBG.


All (teachers and support staff) are welcome. Even if you can't make it to every meeting, please consider participating.


  • 7:15 am - 7:55 am in the large conference room
  • 3:30 pm -4:15 pm in the large conference room

Budgets

BUDGETS

2019-2020

  • Budgets close on April 3, 2020.

  • Items ordered must be utilized this school year.

  • All PO’s should be submitted and approved prior to this date.

2020-2021

  • “Start-up” purchases - those purchases needed to start the next school year.

  • The budget opens April 10th and closes at midnight on April 19th.

  • Plan on having the same budget amount as last year. Once the budget is finalized Kurt will send a snapshot to each member of the department.

Conferences

CONFERENCES

  • March 17, & 19 - 4:30-7:00 pm

  • Conferences are by appointment.

  • Staff needs to set up times in Skyward conference scheduler

    • Setting Up CONFERENCE SCHEDULER in Skyward

    • Set your timeslots at 10 MINUTES - it will default to 15 minutes so you'll need to change that.

    • If you have any previous conferences scheduled (i.e. from the FALL) - they MUST be deleted before a parent can properly sign up.

    • Kurt will email parents on Monday letting them know that they can sign-up for appointments

Heather Jourdeans - Led the Forensics Team to the next level -- 100% success rate!

John Koehler and Chris Buckel - Best oral hygiene in the house even if they are spitting in the lounge sink. :) Minty fresh SS department.

Emily Wech - For always cleaning the coffee pot :)

Kamen Flanders - Being an awesome helper of getting work in by students and making sure students are getting their work turned in when I can't be there. And having great communication about it.

Jason Koele - Thank you for always having real conversations when needed. I will miss you next year!

Jordee Reimer - Had graphic design students help with developing a Junior Meeting Night invitation - AND put up with me badgering him about it!
