Virtual Winter Concert
4th Gr Chorus, 5th Club, Beginning Orch & Band & Year 2 Band
Dear Parents, Teachers & Guests
Thank you for joining our winter celebrations! With the current CDC and HCPS Covid guidelines we are saddened to not be presenting their hard work in person but we know the Christmas spirit will be felt all over Aberdeen tonight! Your children and family members have worked extremely hard over the last few months to prepare for the winter concert. With limited rehearsals and absences due to quarantining it has taken a lot of effort and commitment to put on the show that has been created tonight!
Sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
5th Grade Clubs!
Last Christmas
Always a holiday favorite, "Last Christmas" is sure to get you moving and grooving to the beat! Using body percussion the 5th graders were able to create different sounds and beats to enhance a classic tune. Please enjoy their rendition of "Last Christmas!"

Jingle Bells
5th Grade was able to create a rhythm stick sequence to the holiday classic "Jingle Bells". They used the rhythms sticks to create different sounds such as the horses clicking down the street or the carriages as they plow through the snow. Please enjoy their rendition of "Jingle Bells"!

Feliz Navidad
Fifty One years ago "Feliz Navidad" was released and it wasn't an instant chart topper! Jose Feliciano once said "first people just had to get used to it". But 50 years later it has become a staple for holiday celebrations. So, from our music club to you, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Peaceful Night
Just picture it, a cup of hot chocolate, a fire going, snow on the ground and a gorgeous December night where you can see all of the stars in the sky. Teresa Jennings created a gentle melody where two individual songs come together to create beautiful harmonies. Please enjoy "Peaceful Night".

Hot Chocolate
Who doesn't love a cup of hot chocolate! You may recognize the title of this song from the popular movie "Polar Express" but Andy Beck and Brian Fisher put a jazzy Latin spin on a holiday classic treat! Thank you!
First and foremost we have to say thank you to our parents and families! Thank you for supporting your children and the music department through this crazy year. We know this isn't how we imagined our Winter Concert but your children have worked very hard over the last 3 months and we wanted to showcase it!
Secondly, a huge thank you goes to Ms. Langrehr and Mrs. Lagan! Day in and day out they support the music program and any ideas or visions we have! Without their support none of this would be possible!
Lastly, thank you to the 4th and 5th Grade teachers! Thank you for allowing us to pull your students throughout the class day and sometimes last minute. We know it isn't always easy or ideal but without your support we wouldn't have the ability to create wonderful music!
We hope you all have a happy holiday season!
