School Climate Survey
Hello Lincoln Families –
Please assist us in learning more about our school climate. The measurement of school climate provides educators with the necessary data to identify school needs, set goals, and track progress toward improvement. We appreciate your feedback and invite you to please complete the Parent Survey, which will be emailed to you.
When schools intentionally create a positive school climate, the school community’s experience improves. The climate surveys will be available through Friday, April 15th.
Thank you,
Dickinson Public Schools
2022-2023 School Year Registration
Teacher Requests for Fall
The assigning of students for the 2022-2023 school year will begin at the end of April. We take a great deal of time assigning students to the appropriate classrooms. We take into consideration the needs of all of our students and decide the best placement based on their learning styles and teaching styles of teachers. Requests will be taken into consideration but are not guaranteed.
If you have a request for a particular teacher, you must email the request to Mrs. Heidt and Mrs. Peterson by April 13th, 2022. Please list your child’s name, the teacher you would like to request, and the reason for making the request.

Message from Mrs. Northrop - School Social Worker
Hello Lincoln Families,
I wanted to share a new resource I found that may be helpful to parents and families. Common Sense Media is a website for parents and families, educators, and advocates. The reason why I am sharing out about this site is that is it very user friendly and has content for what “Parents Need to Know” in the specific age group(s) of your children on a variety of topics. The site has information about Social Media, Privacy & Online Safety, Cellphones, etc… and a “Parents’ Ultimate Guide” to online games and apps such as SnapChat, TikTok, YouTube, Roblox, as well as Parent Controls and more.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me at (701)456-0014.

Safety Drills
Keeping our schools safe is our #1 priority. We will be working with students to practice fire drills, tornado drills, and safety lock-down drills. We do this as a measure of practicing safe routines in the event of an emergency.
Sometimes these drills can be unsettling for students so please reassure your child(ren)that practicing is important.
