Join us at lunch for an inspiring story from Sarah Pepper from the New HOT 97.5

Sarah Pepper will join us at the beginning of each lunch session in Gymnatorium to share her story of the power of a great teacher that make a big impact in her life as a child. YOU WON'T TO MISS THIS!!

Who is SARAH PEPPER?

Sarah Pepper has been doing radio for over 13 years and 7 of those 13 years have been in Houston, at Hot 95-7. She has been with the station since a few months after it’s launch in 2009 and is the stations original morning show! Sarah is well known for her wit, humor, compassion and of course, the courthouse. Whatcha doin at the Courthouse is a station benchmark heard in Houston, Sacramento, California and Evansville, Indiana!

When she is not on the air you can find Sarah at BBVA Compass Stadium as the in-stadium announcer for the Houston Dash, Houston’s Professional Women’s Soccer team. She is also an avid Dynamo fan, Texans fan, Rockets fan and Astros.

Sarah’s love of sports doesn’t stop in the stands! She has been a Houston Marathon Ambassador for 2 years now and will be back as an Ambassador in 2016 where she will complete her 5th Houston ½ marathon. She is a staple on the Michelob Ultra MS150 team completing her fourth ride from Houston to Austin this year. Every year Sarah sets a goal for herself, this year is 12 in 2015…which will be 12 ½ marathons in 2015. The only month she will not be completing a ½ is April when she will ride the MS 150.

Her competitive heart is match only by her compassion. She has donated hundreds of hours and helped raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various organizations throughout the Houston Area. Sarah works with Run for Reason, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MS Society, American Diabetes Association, Race for the Cure, Dynamo Charities, Devereaux House, Houston Children’s Charity, TUTS The River just to name a few. Sarah is also the spokesperson for Communities in Schools speaking to over 75,000 students every years about the importance of overcoming circumstance and striving to be their best. Sarah and her sister also started the Andrew Pepper foundation to fund education both globally and locally.

Sarah was the runner-up for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society woman of the year in 2012. Ran the campaign for the runner up in 2013 and is back as a campaign manager this year. Sarah was named OutSmart Magazine’s personality of the year in 2013 & 2014. In 2015, Sarah was named Houston Radio Personality of the Year by the Media Alliance of Houston!
