Pennies for Patients

Pennies for Patients, a campaign sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, will be taking place at Beadle, March 11 to 15. Student Council members have organized a drive to collect spare change and dollars during Bulldog Block. Please send any loose change with your child next week to help donate to this worthy cause.

  • Tuesday -- Hat Day -- Let’s put a CAP on cancer!
  • Wednesday -- Orange Day -- Orange” you glad we’re getting rid of cancer?
  • Thursday -- Mismatch Day -- Hoping for a bone marrow match to beat Leukemia!
  • Friday -- Jersey Day -- Show your “team pride” by bringing in your money to “fight” cancer!

Reminder If you are not dressed appropriate for school and according to school policy you will be asked to change. You can’t wear slippers to PE Class

Girls Track - 7 and 8 Grades

GIRLS Track meeting is Monday, March 11 from 3:10 to 3:40 in the Multi-Purpose room. The Girls coaches are Mr. Gesink, Ms. Herbolsheimer, and Ms. Coates. Even if you are unsure about participating - we'd love to share some information with you! Track Sweats checkout will be every day before and after school by the girls' locker room starting Tuesday, March 12 through Friday, March 15.

Track practice is every day beginning Monday, March 25 from 3:00 to 4:45. More details and info will be at the track meeting, but if you have any questions - please email Coach Gesink:

Boys Track - 7 and 8 Grades

BOYS Track meeting is Tuesday, March 12 from 3:00 to 3:20 in the Multi-Purpose Room. The Boys coaches are Mr. Whale, Mr. Keasling and Mr. Stocking. Track Sweats checkout is March 14 after school outside the boy's locker room.

Track practice is every day beginning Monday, March 25 from 3:00 to 4:45. You must have a physical on file and all MPS athletic participation paperwork turned in before you can participate.

Spring Music Concert

Seventh and Eighth Grade Band, Orchestra and Wind Ensemble students will be giving a joint concert on Thursday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Beadle Gymnasium. Students who are participating in the concert should arrive at Beadle at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

Below are the dates Beadle Middle School will be NSCAS testing. NSCAS stands for Nebraska Student – Centered Assessment System. Most students will take their tests during their regular class time.

Please help your student(s) perform their best by ensuring they are well-rested and eat a healthy breakfast the day of the assessments. If possible, please avoid late night activities prior to an assessment. Beadle students have historically performed well on assessments, and we look forward to continued success this year.
