Dear Falcon Parents and Students,
The following clubs are offered to SST students for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Selecting a club does not guarantee that you will be able to join that club since each club/organization has limited spots available
- Once your child is accepted, payment request via parentsquare will be sent to you within the week. Payment on parentsquare will be required to remain on the club roster.
- Club advisor will reach out to you for the club start date
- Students MUST be picked up on time. (late fee will be charged for late pick up)
- A student who misses more than three club meetings without mentor permission may be dismissed from the club
- Tutoring is PRIORITY. If your child needs tutoring, they will attend tutoring classes.

STUDENT COUNCIL / UNESCO CHARACTER CLUB
Club Purpose: The purpose of the organization is to create a greater sense of responsibility within the student body; to strive for better student/faculty relationship; to promote unification of the student body and better representation of its ideas to the faculty and administration; to promote a positive attitude in the advancement of leadership and loyalty; to promote spirit in the school activities; as well as to uphold traditions and to set standards for generations of SST students to come. The objective of Student Council is to provide a service organization doing various activities within the community throughout the year while developing student leaders.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
Eligibility Requirements: Include good character, citizenship, and leadership, as well as the students must have a cumulative GPA of 85, B, 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent standard of excellence.

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics
FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together. Our three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Debate is a process that involves formal discussion on a particular topic. In a debate, opposing arguments are put forward to argue for opposing viewpoints. Debate occurs in public meetings, academic institutions, and legislative assemblies
