The Old Man and the Sea

By Ernest Hemingway

The old man

After a good 84 days without catching a fish, Santiago promises his old helper, Manolin that he's going far out in the ocean. Then a marlin takes his bait and Santiago is in a 3 day struggle trying to catch the fish.

The Past

Santiago was the best fisherman in town when he just stops catching fish out of nowhere. His partner was forced away by his parents because the old man wasn't catching anything.

The Battle

Long Battle

Santiago struggled for 3 days trying to reel in this massive fish. Finally the fish was getting closer and closer when he harpooned it. On his way home sharks follow the fish dragging behind the boat and ate leaving only bones.
