Fan Club, Celebrations and Birthdays!
Fan Club:
Employee Relations is working with OLL to update our equity goals for the state for 20-21. They recently shared that our data shows we had an average of a 5% increase across the board regarding enrollment in advanced courses this school year for Black, Hispanic and ELL students. It’s the largest increase we have seen since we have been setting goals each year for the Equity Report! Thank you to all OLL Staff for your work on ensuring equity is at the forefront of our minds always!

Current Plans for Working During the Summer
As we prepare to finish the 2019/2020 academic year, we wanted to provide an update to all employees about the District’s current plans for reporting to work over the summer. At this point, the District anticipates the following:
- Employees will continue to follow the respective work calendars for their positions.
- Through June 30, 2020, employees under contract will continue to report to work (virtually or in-person) as directed by their supervisor.
- For employees contracted to work in June and/or July, please remember that the District will be transitioning to 4-day work weeks starting on June 8, 2020 and ending on July 24, 2020.
- Employees needing to be on a District campus to complete their work or conduct District related business should do so with the advanced approval of their worksite supervisor.
- The expectations around having staff on school campuses on Tuesdays will remain in place through June 30, 2020. As we move into the summer, it may also be necessary for schools and departments to accommodate campus visits on other days of the week for things like technology repair/replacement, property inventories, device delivery/pick-up, school audits, student testing/evaluation, etc. Some these visits will only require access to campus, while others may require assistance from school staff. If there is a need for school staff to be present for a visit, the time will be scheduled in advance. Otherwise, the only thing required will be access to campus via custodial services or some other mutually agreeable arrangement.
- Assuming conditions at the time permit, employees under contract should be prepared to report back to work in-person on July 1, 2020. The District understands that employee working conditions vary by school/department and that prevailing local, state, and national conditions/guidance may change as we approach this date. Therefore, more specific communication will be sent out to employees later in June confirming this date or announcing any need modifications. For now, we just want to give employees a sense of when they may be expected to return to work in an in-person capacity.
- The most recent version of the Employee Self-Screener, and any employee reporting to a campus in-person should be reviewing/completing this screening daily was attached to email sent.

All those who express interest will be invited to participate, however taking part in the Focus Group is voluntary. All information collected during the Focus Group meeting will be confidential and all comments will remain anonymous. Trends will be reported as a peer group.
If you are interested in participating, please indicate by completing this form.
The deadline to complete this form is Friday, May 29, 2020. Please note the Focus Groups are 45 minutes in length and will be scheduled over those two days (specific times TBD). You will receive an email at a later date with your scheduled time.
Curriculum Contracts-Action Needed
- Grant funded curriculum contracts should have been turned into Angie at this point. If not, please do this ASAP.
- General revenue funded curriculum contracts must be turned in by June 5th.
We know work may continue up to June 30th but turning contracts in by these dates will ensure we are able to pay everyone in a timely manner.
Mileage
Please email Diane Wilson your March mileage by the end of May. Since OTIS has mileage available on MyPascoConnect you can fill it out from home and sent to her by email dswilson@pasco.k12.fl.us. Due to Covid 19 rules and regulations and many of us working from home our normal process has been very slow. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during our unusual circumstances.
