The American Beekeeping Federation and Bee Girl are bringing “Kids and Bees” to Colorado! Kids and Bees is a program that has been running for over 20 years to bring the art and science of beekeeping education across the nation.

On Saturday, October 3rd, from 1:30am – 4:00pm the community will have open access to the “Kids and Bees Event” at the Millennium Harvest House, Boulder. Participants will be treated to activity stations featuring a live observation bee hive, honey tasting, beeswax candle rolling, and other opportunities to engage in the art and science of beekeeping. The tables will be staffed with volunteer beekeepers, ready to enthusiastically share their knowledge and passion about the honey bee.
