Field Trip Information
Tuesday, February 10th--Cook, Norwood, and Sanderson's classes

Please look in your child's take home folder to find the informational packet about our field trip. The second to last page of the packet has two forms that you will need to complete all parts--front and back. The front side is the permission slip to participate in the Waterproof Kids Water Safety program, the back side is a permission form to ride on a Keller ISD school bus. Please fill out both sides completely and return to your child's teacher.
More information about our field trip will be sent home as the date approaches.
Writing--Aligning with our social studies curriculum, students will be writing about their dreams for their future.
Math--Students will measure and compare lengths using non-standards units. Students will be measuring the same object using different measuring tools, and trying to select the best measuring tool to use.
MATH AT HOME.... Ask your child to measure the length of your kitchen table using paper clips and then measure the length of your kitchen table using straws. Did it take more paper clips or straws? Why?

We will review previously learned spelling patterns in class.
