Welcome Back!
Parent Information Night
It was great to meet so many of you at Meet the Teacher Night! Thank you for coming, if you were able. Each year, I like to have a night just for parents to go over classroom information and expectations. I promise to make it short and sweet! With the transition to a new building and new grade level, there are several differences you should know about. Please plan to come on Thursday, August 17th at 6:00pm sharp. (4th grade starts at 6:30, so I will be starting right at 6:00 to be done in time.)
Setting up for the Year...
- If you have a Remind page attached, it means that I do see you on my class roster as having signed up. Please do so as soon as possible so that you do not miss out on important reminders.
- If you have a Seesaw QR code attached, it means that I do not see you in my Seesaw roster. Please scan the code to be able to view your child's work throughout the year. This will also allow you to see notes from me.
- If you would like to purchase a class shirt for your child, please fill out the form and send your check by Friday, August 18th. These are great to wear anytime, but especially on special days and field trips. They make a great keepsake too!
- It is important that you send your child's apple ID and password as soon as possible. There are many apps we will add to the ipad that require this. Please call the office if you do not know how to set this up.
Keep in Touch!
One of the keys to our partnership in educating your child is good communication. Your child received his/her agenda today. This is a great place to jot me a note that I will see first thing in the morning. You can also email me at: Shannon.anderson@rcsc.k12.in.us. If during the school day, there is a change in transportation or something important comes up, you can call the school at 866-8212 and the office will take a message for me. Lastly, I will be sending home newsletters via Seesaw and Remind texts when needed. I hope you always feel like you can ask questions or meet with me when you have concerns.
