Muslims believe in the 5 Pillars which are belief, prayer, charity, fasting and pilgrimage. Muslims have a practice called Siyam in which they fast. when worshiping a muslim worships at a mosque. Muslims have to pray 5 times a day, one at sunrise, another at mid-day, another at late afternoon, another at sunset, and one at night. Muslims know when to pray when they here the minaret blow. Two leaders run a mosque one is an inam which is a prayer leader and the other is a mullah which is a teacher.
The sects in the Islamic culture is a Sunni or a Shiite. Muslim holidays include the Annual Hajj: the yearly pilgrimage to Mecca, the Aeed al-Adah; this is the feast of sacrifice, Ramadan: the fast from day break to sunset each day in the 9th month in the Islamic year. a special place to a muslim is Mecca which is the birthplace of Muhammed.
