Our partners from the Masonic Lodge 760 came out on Saturday to work with our families, staff and PTA to clean our courtyards and restore the Learning Garden classroom area. Thank you Mark Fisher, Gary Rock and the other Masons for helping to transform our courtyards into a Landscape for Learning!

Our community has been invited to attend just wear your Nathan Adams spirit shirt or come with your child in a Nathan Adams spirit shirt. We will be distributing tickets to our partners soon.

Personalized Learning Update

Visit Nathan Adams classrooms and you will find growing evidence of Personalized Learning. One trait of PL is a Blended Learning Environment (rotation model)


The classroom Blended Learning Environment will have various zones for rotation:


  • Discussion and Thinking Zone

    • Students collaborate about their learning with flexible peer groups

    • Teacher as a facilitator of student learning

    • Whole group

    • Students utilize trackers to monitor their progress

  • Discovery Zone

    • Inquiry-based and independent

    • Students investigate and solve problems

    • Use digital devices for inquiry and learning support

  • Creation Zones

    • Write, edit and develop their profile artifacts

    • Utilize digital devices to document their content mastery (i.e. flip cameras, Kindles, Surfaces, laptops, etc.
