Principal's message - week 24
Greetings North Plains Families!
Welcome to Oregon winters; cold, gray, and wet!! Thankfully we got our monthly fire drill in last week before the rain came!
The first semester is almost over and I would love to get some feedback from you about how things are going. If you would be so kind as to click on the following link to fill out a brief survey I would really appreciate it! The first question is about family math night attendance, and I really need to know how many people are coming. Many of you reach out with questions and concerns via email, but this is another opportunity to provide feedback! The survey link is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JW5LN5J
Did you know that I have a twitter account? Some of you may have seen some of the tweets as they are automatically uploaded to our website which is kind of fun. If you have a twitter account, please follow me @NorthPlainsES. I try to post at least once a day! If you don't have twitter, you can see the posts on the website.
Next week we will be drawing names for students with perfect attendance each of the four full months of school so far. Students with perfect attendance in Sept. will have a drawing, then Oct., Nov. and Dec. Prizes have been donated from Ms. Bottema for students to choose from. I'll announce winners in the newsletter next Friday! Classrooms are also having competitions for the highest attendance each month. The winners so far are: Sept. Ravins, Oct. Chronister, Nov. Richter, and Dec. Phipps. Winning classes get Hawk Talons and a popcorn party!
Be sure to check the link at the bottom for the updated lost and found information!
Have a great weekend!
Becky
