LEAD 2021: Community Partners

LEAD 2021 Strategy V Finance Strategy: We will practice thoughtful management of district resources and expand opportunities by establishing partnerships with our business community, non-profit, and civic organizations to secure scholarships, grants, endowments, and internships that support the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.

Last week highlighted a wonderful example of establishing partnerships with our business community as eight local organizations sponsored Laps for Learning, Spirit Xtreme, NDEX, NRH Orthodontics, Alamo Draft House, Groce Law Firm, Menchie's, Worthington National Bank, and Stone Law. The generous contributions of the aforementioned businesses provided shirts for each student, creating a team Bransford feel as we ran lap after lap on Friday. The donations from our generous sponsors also provided water and cups for the runners, keeping them cool as they attained their individual running goals. The connections we make with our community and local business emphasizes the value of collaboration, one of our GCISD Portrait of a Graduate goals. It is wonderful to see collaboration occurring with our families, community members, and students as we worked together raise money to enhance the educational experience at BES!

Getting local business involved in BES activities is another way we are Building an Excellent School Together!

Thank you Laps for Learning Sponsors!
