Greetings!
Dear OLMC School Family,
This is the digital format of the Friday note I hope to use next year. Maybe we can save a tree or two! I would appreciate your feedback, so let me know what you think, please.
Regional champions!
The Lady Crusaders are undefeated Regional and Conference Champs!
4th Place at State
The Lady Crusaders placed 4th at the State Tourney last Saturday at Herrin High. Their first defeat of the season came against All Saints Academy in Breese. Great season, ladies!
Cross Country Team competes at 5K
Some of our Cross Country Team participated in the Ashley K. Jackson Memorial 5K last Saturday. Michael Oliver placed 1st and broke the course record. Anthony Bowling was 2nd, David Carlson 3rd, Ben Carlson 4th overall, and Charli Elliot won overall women's! Way to represent!
Reminders:
- Please return your yellow "Intent to Register" forms. We are working on the budget and teacher assignments, so we'd like to get a fairly accurate number.
- We will only have one All School Mass this week, on Wednesday. Students should return their rice bowls that they having been saving coins in for Lent at that mass.
- Our 8th graders are going to the Chrism Mass in Belleville tomorrow to receive the oils for their Confirmation. This is an awesome service celebrated by the Bishop.
