Week of February 8th
I hope you had a great weekend! I know the Super Bowl didn't go quite the way we expected but there's always next year.
The professional development on EVAAS with Karen Price will be rescheduled.
We will meet in the media center on Tuesday, Feb. 9th at 3:00 p.m. Refreshments will be ready at 2:45 p.m. Please be prepared to begin at 3:00 p.m. We will review our SIP (bring a hard copy or your laptop) and we will have vertical articulation about the Essential Learning that each grade level has identified for the fourth 9 week grading period.

Enrichment Day - Thursday, February 11th
As a team, you will need to complete the form Where Do We Go, From Here? Worksheet Monitoring Each Student's Learning. I will put a hard copy in your boxes and I'll also e-mail it to you. This page may also be downloaded at go.solution-tree.com/PLCbooks. After Thursday, you will be asked to complete a survey (Google Doc) about our Enrichment Days. This feedback will be used to plan our final Enrichment day for this year.
We are in the process of determining and planning our professional development needs for the remainder of the year and for next year. Please relay your ideas and suggestions to your leadership team rep. Please complete and return the Critical Issues for Team Consideration form to me by tomorrow. This was given to teams last Thursday during PDT.
In my January 25th newsletter, you were provided a link to John Hattie's 10th Mindframe for Learning. Please discuss the article with your team and post your individual reflections in Canvas by Tuesday, February 16th.
Progress reports go home tomorrow.
