Time Management and Study Skills, Q&A Session
Finding Success in AP
Typically, an AP course will require at least twice as much time as a comprehensive course. However, the benefits of completing the rigorous and challenging curriculum will be rewarding, especially when you move onto higher education. Hopefully, you have arranged a study and time management system that will empower you to be successful in your courses. If not, here are some common and recommended study strategies:
¨ Create a quiet place to study that is free from distractions.
¨ Establish a consistent schedule, so you can successfully complete all of your assignments
¨ Create a notebook or place on your computer where you can write questions down you have regarding the curriculum. Meet with your teacher during office hours to review these questions.
¨ Even when you do not have specific homework, you should always set at least 30 minutes aside for review.
