BHS Academic All Star

Brownsburg High School senior Brayden Walters has been named one of the 40 Indiana Academic All-Stars. These students are selected based on many factors including GPA, SAT/ACT, leadership, community service, extra-curricular activities and letters of recommendation. Brayden represents Team 2022, participates in swimming and DECA, and plans to attend Purdue University with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He selected White Lick's Katy Keller as his Most Influential Educator and they attended a special lunch to recognize these 40 Indiana All-Stars.

Percussion, Guard Place at World Championships

In its first-ever trip to the Winter Guard International (WGI) Percussion World Championships, Brownsburg Percussion (top) was awarded 7th place in the Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) division.


The Brownsburg A Guard (right) competed at the WGI World Championships in the Scholastic A division and took home the silver medal with their outstanding performance!

Relay For Life

BHS Robotics Second at State

Congratulations to BHS Robotics Team 3176 who finished as the Alliance Captain of the State Finalist Runner-up (2nd Place) at the FIRST® Robotics Indiana District State Championships. Over the entire course of the competition season finished as the 6th best robot (out of 51) in the state.

Band & Choir Advance to State Finals

The BHS Wind Ensemble (top) qualified for the ISSMA Concert Band State Finals for the first time in school history and will compete on Saturday at 9:55am at Lawrence Central High School. BHS Choir ensembles Bel Canto and Starlight (bottom) and Madrigal Singers (middle) also qualified for State in the Choir Division and will compete Friday night at 9:10pm (Bel Canto/Starlight) and Saturday at 3:30pm (Madrigals) at Pike High School. Admission is $5 for each event.

BHS Marching Band Honored With Prestigious Award

Last month the Brownsburg High School Marching Band was presented with The Sudler Shield Award for 2021. The Sudler Shield is an international award presented by the John Philip Sousa Foundation recognizing high school, youth and international marching bands of world class excellence. Representatives from the John Philip Sousa Association were at the event and joined BCSC and BHS Administration to present the award.

PK, K & New Student Enrollment for 2022-2023 - NOW OPEN

Incoming Kindergarten and Preschool students, and anyone who will be new* to Brownsburg Schools in the upcoming school year should ENROLL NOW. CLICK HERE to complete online enrollment for future Bulldogs. (Please select the link for 2022-2023 for those students starting with BCSC next school year.)


*Current students who will be returning for the next school year will update their registration through the email registration sent in March

Limited Out of District Enrollment Open Through May 27th

The BCSC Board of School Trustees has approved a plan to open enrollment to a limited number of Out of District students for the 2022-2023 school year. Interested families must complete the applications online before May 27. All qualified applicants will be considered for one of ten spots per grade level, K-12. If more than 10 students apply in any grade level, a lottery will be conducted to determine which students will be enrolled. Families of Out of District students must provide transportation to and from school. Follow this link to learn more about the process:
