Principal's Corner

April 2016

Bedminster Township School is in the middle of PARCC Testing and all things are going well thus far. Having had experience with it from last year really makes a big difference. While we are currently administering the PARCC, we are still moving forward with instruction and our typical school day.

Thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing the 17th Annual Spring Fling this month. It was a great event and the PTO puts a lot of money back into our school and I want them to know how truly appreciative we are. Things such as School Assemblies, Game Night, the Halloween Carnival, Chess sets, IPads, STEAM Museum, and Teach like a PIRATE just to name a few. THANK YOU PTO FOR ALL THAT YOU DO FOR OUR SCHOOL!

Our 3rd Marking Period Honor Roll and High Honor Roll Certificates will be distributed to students early next week. In addition, we will be having Academic Achievement Night for students who have made either the Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, or a combination of both for each of the first three marking periods on Wednesday, May 11th at 7pm. If your child qualifies for this, a letter will be sent home with their 3rd Marking Period Certificate. If your child qualifies for Academic Achievement Night and cannot make the ceremony, please email Mrs. Johnsen in the Main Office at

In a matter of weeks, you will see our Class Placement Parent Input Form on our website for the 16-17 school year. This form is only for parents of students who are currently in grades K - 3. There will be specific instructions as to how to fill out the form, so please look for this over the next few weeks.

Please read below for more things going on in our school. Have a great weekend.
