Argyle ISD Celebrates National Principals Month

During October, Argyle ISD is celebrating its outstanding campus principals. This provides an opportunity for staff, parents and students to share their gratitude to our campus leaders for the work they do every day leading our Eagles.

We are thankful for these five Eagles who lead, guide and inspire students and staff on their respective campuses. This month we are recognizing them individually on social media with the hashtag #ThankAPrincipal.

Welcome to Chick-fil-A...at Argyle Intermediate!

The Argyle Intermediate School 5th-grade math classrooms of Mrs. Mouton, Mrs. Hartjen and Mrs. Porter were transformed into Chick-fil-A restaurants earlier this week!

Students learned and engaged in reviewing decimal operations, filled out employee handbooks and Employees of the Day were honored! The students did a great job applying problem-solving to this creative learning opportunity.

"Students solved a series of word problems using all decimal operations to complete customer orders," Mouton said. "Parents were such great supporters and helped bring my Chick-fil-A room transformation to life. It was so much fun and an interactive way to incorporate word problems with decimal operations."
