What is self image and identity?
Self image is the idea you have of your appearance, abilities and personality.
Identity is who you are and in what way do you express yourself online.

Their goals on self image is basically having students from all ages know what they should and should not post online. They should by 2nd grade have mastered and be able to identify the risks of not being yourself online.
In my future Classroom...
My students will walk into class everyday to a quote on the wall that states "being yourself is the best way to be". No student should ever try to be someone they are not on the internet in order to impress people. The only way to be successful is to be true to yourself and others around you!

what is internet safety?
Internet safety is being safe when using the internet. Make sure you know what you are getting into when using the internet. Some websites might be viruses therefore, do not use websites you are not familiar with. Internet safety is also about you staying safe online by not giving out too much information.

One of their goals that involves internet safety is having kids in grades 2-12 master the idea of what exactly goes online and what does not. They should be able to identify and explain strategies that will help prevent anything bad happening online.
What internet safety will look like in my future classroom
In my future classroom students will be aware of everything that could go wrong when using the internet. Being safe on the internet is very important.

What is cyberbullying ?
Cyberbullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
Louisiana digital literacy goals on cyberbullying
One of Louisiana's digital literacy goal on cyberbullying is for students in 2nd -12th grade to be able to identify it and have strategies that will help deal with such a situation. They should be introduced to cyberbullying from kindergarten and 1st grade.
what cyberbullying will look like in my future classroom..
Cyberbullying will be something all my students know about. They will know how wrong it is and how much it really does effect those who are bullied. Nothing is a joke, somethings are taken seriously. It might seem funny at that moment but it will hurt later on. Students will learn how to respect one another. No judging is allowed at all because everyone is their own person!
Do not be apart of it!
Do not encourage it!
Stand up against bullies!

1. It is not cool at all so do not be apart of it
2. Imagine if it happened to you, would it be funny?
3. Never let anyone bring you down
4. You are you and you are good at it
