News and Announcements:
- Congratulations to the following students who have moved to Captain on the Super Improver Wall: Loralie and Delilah!
- The Halloween Activity Afternoon will be on Monday, October 31 from 12:15-3:00. You are invited to attend the parade in the auditorium. Please be seated by 12:10. Please send your child's costume to school. We will be visiting the Villa Maria in the morning.
- If your child is trick or treating in Hurley, feel free to stop by my house. My address is 308 4th Ave N. It is the corner house diagonal to the old Hurley High School.
- The book fair will be held November 8-11.
- The first quarter ends on Wednesday, November 2. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, November 4.
- Parent-teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 12:30-8:30. Our class does student-led conferences. Your child will attend and participate in the conference. More information will be coming home soon.
- The junior class is sponsoring a popcorn sale the first Friday of the month. The cost is $1 per bag. If you would like your child to purchase a bag of popcorn, please send the $1 in to school by Thursday.
- We have our first members of the 100 Club: Congratulations to Ryan A, Ryann O, Jhaela, and Olivia, who are all Gold Members who have read 100 books this school year!
- The students are very excited to begin multiplication and division in Math!
