Please make sure your child reads at least 30 minutes every night. Research says if a student reads every day for at least 20 minutes a day, they will hear 1.8 million words a year, and are more likely to score better than 90% of their peers. From the Principal
Thank you for supporting MPE and participating in the Step it Up fundraiser. The money collected will be used to support all the extra things we do at MPE. We use the money to pay for all the awesome PBIS fun events like parties, snow day, snow cone day, movie day, and so much more. We also purchase items for our PBIS store so any child can use their points to buy cool toys. Our Panthers are really motivated by points, and we want to continue to offer them all kinds of fun things they can do with their points.
We also have student appreciation week coming soon, and all week all our Panthers get shown how much we appreciate them with treats like cookies, ice cream, super cool pencils, and some other surprises. This is a week that we celebrate our Panthers and through lots of other activities going on during the week, we show them how much we love and care for them. Your generosity makes this possible for our whole school. Thank you so much for making MPE the "Best School in the Land!"
Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Martinez
